Mother's Day Gift Ideas

Mother’s Day will be here before we know it.  I personally don’t ask for anything for Mother’s Day and really don’t expect any gifts.  I do appreciate the gift of time and maybe an experience, but I do love to give gifts to all the moms in my life.

If you aren’t interested in beauty or wellness products, take a look at these great gift ideas.

Original Buddha Board – $34.95

Mother's Day Gift Ideas

Okay, clearly I need to work on my calligraphy, but y’all – we have the original and the enso version of the Buddha Boards and they are so calming and fun.  They are basically a board that you paint with a paintbrush with only water on it.  It dries in minutes and is such a calming activity.

Pretty Pokets Diaper Bag Backpack – $148

Diaper bag backpack

Although I don’t need a diaper bag these days, I’ve been using my Pretty Pokets bag as a camera bag.  It was perfect for our trip to Cambria and holds so much.  This bag has 10 pockets inside and also comes with a changing pad, coin purse, adjustable strap, and a bottle bag (great for camera lenses).   The bags are vegan leather and come in black, blue, and brown.

Other places the Pretty Pokets backpack would be great for:  theme parks, hiking, school field trips with your kiddos, parks, and the gym.

  1. Baking cookies. Everytime we go see my mom my kids help her bake cookies and decorate them too.

  2. My mom has always been my #1 supporter. One special memory was when she brought me to London for my birthday/Christmas present in high school. It was many years ago, but I have a lot of special memories from that trip.

  3. She sewed lots of our clothes when growing up, with 3 girls that is lots of sewing. Sometimes money tight, so many for end of the roll cuts, but always something nice to wear.

  4. Spending times at home on Saturdays, watching movies and eating a delicious homemade meal together.
Use to be something I looked forward too.

  5. I remember going on lots of nature walks and hikes with my mom; it nurtred a love of the natrual world and my relationship with my mom at the same time.

  6. My mom was my best friend. She passed unexpectedly last May. This year will be very different. This will be my daughter’s 2nd Mother’s Day. I hope to make it special for her.

  7. I love taking my boys on vacations and experiencing new things. Just as my mother did with me growing up.

  8. For Christmas, we always decorate the house and the tree, go to see the lights, and make all kinds of homemade goodies with my sister and my brother’s wife. My daughter really likes decorating the cookies and seeing all her cousins.

  9. I love taking trips with my mom. We would always go fishing on mother’s day growing up at a lake nearby. It was a fun day with some quality mom/daughter bonding!

  10. My mom is such an amazing grandmother to my kids. I love watching her spending time with them. Reading to them, baking with them, etc.

  11. A special memory of my mom is when she used to take me to her farm. She would work while I played. She looked so happy.

  12. I most remember all the times we spent enjoying being outside, swimming, picnics and camping together.

  13. I make it a point to read to my son every night , it not only helps him but gives us special bonding time and makes memories 🙂

  14. One of the best memories with my mom is vacationing at the beach. We would spend quality time for a week doing so many fun things when I was growing up!
